Cafe Pasqual’s Gallery is excited to announce that we added mica clay artist, Alfred G Blea, who was trained by and worked directly with our Master potter Felipe Ortega. He strives to carry on his traditional methods of collecting and processing clay, to make beautiful functional pottery! Each piece is made by hand individually, coil and scrape method and pit fired with wood. These pieces are all fully functional, they can be used up to 800 degrees in the oven, directly on the stovetop as well as on an open flame or in the microwave. The clay imparts an earthy sweetness to food and makes your favorite dishes even better!
